Hispanic Economic Opportunity Program (EOC)
Individual counseling; advocacy with courts, schools, and police; housing; health; assistance in matters of welfare, social security, compensation, education, legal aid, immigration, interpreting, consumer affairs, unemployment problems. Nassau/Suffolk Law Services Community Inc.
Provide Legal Assistance for low-income people who have legal Status, Permanent Residents Cards or U.S. Citizens. Provide services such as housing problems, landlord/tenant disputes, evictions, poor housing conditions, ensuring that government benefits, public assistance, food stamps, SSI, and emergency services, including temporary shelter, are provided fairly to those who are eligible.
