The Joey Foundation was started in memory of my son who passed away at age 6 due to A Plastic Anemia. Joey helped kids in the hospital deal with tests and procedures and always gave his birthday presents saying they needed them most. Joey was a giving child and now in his memory we help children. Our mission statement is to positively impact the lives of children. We help children with life threatening illnesses, to children in need. We have a program we call make a child smile, and when we help a kids smile we know our work is done. This past year since getting our 501c3 status from NY we gave a little girl a swing set who has stage 4 Leukemia and then 225 kids of needy families Christmas.
