The Levittown Chamber of Commerce welcomed Pat’s Barber Shop, Village Green Senior Living, Lotus Fitness and Senator Kevin Thomas as members to the chamber.
Pat’s Barber Shop is a family owned business with over 50 years in the community. It was formally located in the Pergament Home Center. The Pergament store is long gone, however the barber shop and its founder Pasquale “Pat” Palumbo are thriving at their location at 17 Emerson Ave. in Levittown. Rose Drummond, Pat’s daughter manages the shop with a staff of 11 barbers. Pat’s Barbar Shop is open seven days a week, 516-796-1953.
Village Green a Carlisle Assisted Living Community will be opening in the spring. They are currently completing construction at their site located at 100 Schoolhouse Rd. in Levittown. Residents will experience tailored, hospitality-based senior living service where they will receive assistance with the activities of daily living along with specialized support. Ahmed Ahmed and Kareem Elbasty from Lotus Fitness are owners that inspire wellness transformations to their clients through physical education while offering a community environment. The focus is on health and reaching fitness goals in a healthy way. Lotus Fitness opened a few months ago at 3058 Hempstead Turnpike in Levittown behind Chen’s Buffet. New York State Senator Kevin Thomas was also welcomed to the chamber. Senator Thomas represents the 6thSenate District with a district office located in Garden City, 516-747-7430.
