The Levittown Chamber of Commerce held its annual tree lighting on Monday, December 7 at Veterans Memorial Park. Local schools and community groups performed including Northside Instrumental Ensemble, Northside Holiday Singers, Neighborhood Entertainment Arts & Theatre Inc, Island Trees HS Chamber Orchestra, Island Trees School Chorus, Nancy’s Dance Factory and St. Bernard’s Choir. Emily Sciarretta, Ms. Wheelchair NY USA 2016 stopped by with her service dog, Carmel. In addition, Big Mike Sangiammo read a story with a special visit from the Levittown Fire Department and Santa Claus. It was a fun evening for all filled with holiday cheer and refreshments donated by Starbucks in Levittown.
