The Levittown Chamber of Commerce would like to introduce a long time member, Frank Mormando, who is the current Owner/operator of Levittown Lanes located at 56 Tanners Lane along with his son Joseph.
The Mormando family has operated the business for 66 years providing Bowling Entertainment to the community with Frank representing the second generation with Joseph representing the third generation.
Mormando grew up in Levittown and went to Abby Lane School. He has been a member of the Chamber for many years and has served as Treasurer for 20 years.
The Levittown Chamber of Commerce would like to spotlight a long time Chamber member Joan Lynch, who is the Immediate Past President of the Chamber and serves on the scholarship, budgeting and festival committees. She serves on the Board of Directors of the Gerben Foundation whose charter is to provide financial support for research and treatment of Canine Lymphoma and is also a member of the Levittown Lions Club. She was a past honoree at the Levittown School District’s annual dinner for her commitment and service to the community and was honored at the Nassau County Legislature 2019 Women of Distinction Program-Trailblazers the New Millennium 21st Annual Awards Ceremony for District 15.
The Levittown Chamber of Commerce would like to introduce Donald Patane, CFS , a Financial Adviser and one of the founders of Main Street Financial Group. He is a long- time resident of Levittown and a Past President of Levittown Chamber of Commerce. He currently serves on the Board of Directors. He has offices in Levittown and Kings Park. He generally meets clients at their home or place of business or any other location convenient for them. He refers to himself as a “Financial Doctor” who makes house calls
The Levittown Chamber would like to introduce one of our newest members, Karen Ramos, the new manager at Starbucks located at 3240 Hempstead Turnpike in Levittown.
Ramos and her team are extremely excited about becoming involved in the Levittown community and she looks forward to working with the Chamber of Commerce on various projects.
Ramos brings a lot of experience in community participation from her previous role as store manager in Glen Cove where she was on the Board of Glen Cove’s Business Improvement District. She also formed a relationship with the Glen Cove Youth Bureau and was part of the planning committee for the First Annual Glen Cove Kids Day.
